With the powerful functions of mobile phones,modern people use alarm clocks that come with their phones.Traditional alarm clocks are gradually disappearing from the historical stage.However,with the development of smart homes,alarm clocks have also followed the trend and launched smart alarm clock products.Smart alarm clocks generally have functions such as smart wake-up,smart itinerary reminder,calendar,desk lamp,voice wake-up,and internet query,and can almost be regarded as a small smart speaker.But generally,these types of smart products need to obtain 3C certification in order to be sold in the domestic market.

What is CCC certification?

The so-called CCC certification refers to the mandatory product certification system in China,also known as China Compulsory Certification or abbreviated as CCC(abbreviated as 3C certification).As the authoritative"CCC"certification that combines National Security Certification(CCEE),Import Safety and Quality Licensing System(CCIB),and China Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification(EMC),it is an advanced symbol of China's General Administration of Quality Supervision,Inspection and Quarantine and the National Certification and Accreditation Administration in line with international standards,and has irreplaceable importance.Any product listed in the mandatory product certification catalog that has not obtained a certification certificate from a designated certification body and has not applied the certification mark as required shall not be imported,sold,or used in business service premises.It should be noted that the CCC mark is not a quality mark,but only the most basic safety certification.

Required documents for CCC certification application of smart alarm clock

1.Application for Compulsory Product Certification;

2.Apply for certification of the Chinese user manual for the product;

3.Product assembly drawing and electrical schematic diagram;

4.Apply for certification of product process flow chart(to be provided during initial application or change);

5.List of key instruments and equipment for routine inspection(see Factory Quality Control Testing Requirements for Certification Implementation Rules)(to be provided upon initial application or change);

6.Organizational chart of the production plant(provided upon initial application or change);

7.Apply for certification of Chinese brand name and warning mark for the product(in duplicate);

8.Copy of the applicant's"Business License for Enterprise Legal Person"or registration certificate(to be provided during the initial application or change);

9.Explanation of the differences between various models of products within the same application unit;

10.Appearance photos of each model of product within the same application unit(in duplicate);

Other relevant information required when needed(if there is a CB test report,please provide it).

CCC certification process for smart alarm clock

1.Application acceptance

After the enterprise's CQC application is successfully accepted,CQC will issue an acceptance notice to the applicant,notifying them to send or send relevant documents and materials.

2.Data review

CQC conducts applicant information review and notifies the applicant to send samples to the testing agency.

3.Sample reception for sending samples

The applicant shall send samples to the designated testing institution.After the sample acceptance,the testing agency fills out the sample testing progress form and reports it to CQC,and the sample testing officially begins.

4.Sample testing

After the sample testing is completed,the testing agency will transmit the test report and other materials to CQC.

5.Factory review

For applications that require factory review,the inspection department organizes a factory review.

6.Qualification assessment

CQC certified engineers conduct preliminary evaluations of the applicant's tasks.The qualified assessment personnel will conduct a re evaluation of the above results.

7.Certificate approval

CQC issues certificates.

8.Printing,receiving,sending,and managing certificates

After receiving the certificate,the applicant shall manage it according to relevant requirements.
